Water Armor products can be used for both commercial and residential plumbing installations. The F1807 sweat drop ear is best used for plumbing projects that require a transition from PEX tubing to a female thread, like shower heads, tub spouts, and supply stub outs. The drop ear is composed of a F1807 PEX barb end, FNPT threads, and three mounting ears for the fitting to be secured to a wall using screws.
